Dr. Kenneth Sullivan Appointed New President and CEO of Micro Craft, Inc.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tullahoma, TN – Micro Craft, Inc. has announced the appointment of Dr. Kenneth Sullivan, P.E., as their new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He assumed responsibilities on February 22, 2016 and will succeed Jim Herron, who will be focusing on business development for the company.

Dr. Sullivan was part of the Micro Craft team in the past as a Senior Project Engineer and Program Manager. Prior to joining Micro Craft he served as an Industrial and Project Engineer at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center where he worked on various Space Shuttle and International Space Station projects. Dr. Sullivan has also served as a Sr. Production Engineer at Carrier Corporation; and most recently as the Director of the Office of Operational Excellence in the Research Institute at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Sullivan grew up in the local area graduating from Franklin County High School. He attended Motlow State Community College prior to receiving his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dr. Sullivan completed his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management from The University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI). He completed his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering/Engineering Management from University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is a registered Professional Engineer and completed the Supply Chain Design and Management Seminar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Sloan School of Management. He has authored multiple professional articles; guest lectured for various educational institutions and presented numerous speeches at professional forums nation-wide. Dr. Sullivan also serves as a Vice-chairman for the National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA) Manufacturing Division.
